Decided to give the new tap room bar a try last night, got there at 6.30 and the place was heaving, after about half an hour found somewhere to sit and placed an order for pizza which was ready at around 8.00. There was a band set up by the bar but the sound wasnt great (couldnt hear the guitar at all). The staff did their best but were probably overwhelmed by the numbers they had to deal with. Appreciate the bar hasnt been open long and there are bound to be teething problems, perhaps the owner could consider lowering the curfew for children from 8pm to 7pm. Its great that its family friendly but when we arrived it did resemble a crche.
Great beers and a buzzing atmosphere, looking forward to seeing what the new brewery and tap room are like!
A great drinking spot! Definitely worth a visit for the local beers and the amazing pizza. We recently went on the brewery tour, it was very informative and interesting to delve into the history of how it was all set up and try their beers! It's always best to get there early and wrap up warm, I can't wait to see there new premises just a stone throws away!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon but soon after we arrived it got quite busy. Good atmosphere, good beer and of course we had to try a pizza. Lots of families with lots of babies and children plus well behaved dogs. Had a queue for the ladies as only one available and my son was amused by the gents (so I had to take a peek!) Even the organic cola was actually nice.
