All pubs should be like this! Bustling community centred pub. Great atmosphere, great beer, great staff.
Dave Ayres Baroque Night...you never expect to get such quality musicians in a pub! Concert hall yes, but not the bar of a pub. It was nearly full at 7.30 and the concert didn't start till 8pm.it was packed with a most appreciative audience. We have to wait till March for the next one.. I'll be there just after 7 to bag a seat, so I don't have to perch on a tiny stool for nearly 3 hours. Marvellous concert with superb musicians. Bravo.
Amazing place! Friendly staff, great atmosphere and there are bands playing very often! Lovely location too with a short walk to rodborough common. HI highly reccomend you head in for a pint!!
I've lived in Stroud my whole life and never once been In. Mum said go there they do vegan food too I met my current partner and she said for us to follow the "what's on" magazine for the area and we now been there twice for live music. We both love the atmosphere the music and the peopleIts now our favourite pub in the surrounding area.
Fantastic gig. Lots of happy people dancing to Albino Tarentino. Have been coming to this pub for 18 years, even had my 50th birthday here last year. Best pub ever. Friendly, laid back, quality local music no cover bands. Always a good vibe and a real mixture of ages. Dogs welcome too.
