Dirty grubby place...tables disgustingly sticky so need to speed napkin on them to stop your clothing sticking to the surface - God knows whether the people who work here accept such poor standards of cleanliness in their own homes....waiting 45 mins for food means you have time to notice these things.Tables too close together means you can't really get to your table with a full drink
Christmas meal with family. Booked and lost by staff, son in law was asked to visit in person to rebook with menu choices and yet again lost by staff when rang to confirm on day again. Placed in normal part of restaurant and made us feel unable to celebrate as we were disturbing the regular diners. Food was good, hot and service was great but was spoiked.
Second day of eating here while staying next door at the premier inn. I have to say that on both days the food and staff were great. The fish and chips was lovely. The quiche and the chicken burger were also both really nice. Puddings were of course yummy and all food was good value. Thankyou for a pleasant and relaxing 2 night's dining.
Very helpful and friendly staff as well as good quality pub food at a reasonable price. Enjoyed the time spent there with family.
Reasonable prices for average quality pub food. The tables were sticky. Staff was polite. Little car park. But next to Tesco with bigger car park.
