The Staff Are Very Kind And Try Not Help You Any Way They Can.
It is quite clear from the posts written by those who ACTUALLY have first hand experience here, that in spite of what outsiders may think, this establishment is very good at what it does.For the lady who says 'staff here can't take criticism' the post you refer to wasn't written by staff, but a former resident/pupil. We are all quick to judge but this just proves we should never judge a book by its cover. Well written jasmine Smith-burgoin, you have clearly learned much here.
absolutely the best, changed my life, got me ready for the wide world, I was here for 6 years and I learnt so much about budgeting and sorting out things, catching buses on my own etc., literally the best school in the world LOVED IT!!!, DEAR PUBLIC, all the kids in this school are here for a reason and I don't think you should be writing bad reviews without thinking about there needs and restrains have gone down massively, don't judge the school just cause you see someone being restrained the staff do an amazing job of keeping everyone safe when they have to deal with restraints, but its literally very rare restraints at Cotswold chine school now, everyones amazing here, literally if anyone of you were ever thinking of applying, don't think about it, just apply because just its like a massive family, all the different personalities and you guys would see the school in a different light.
I can't complain about this school or the care staff at all. They've done wonders for my son, despite some very difficult times all round. They've built a good relationship with both me and my son over the last five years and, despite heated times, they get issues sorted to the best of their ability. I honestly wouldn't want him attending any other school, residentially or otherwise. I work within the NHS so I don't say these things lightly!
Do not trust novalis trust.Novalis trust who run Cotswold chine school should hang them selfs in shame. Cotswold chine school along with novalis trust should be closed down.Social services don't seem to care about what really goes on here behide closed doors, Staff here abuse there positions. Students are mistreated and treated very unfairly morjority of students who leave this school will come out with no qualifications they will most likely come out with severe mental health problems.Please think about it before sending your child to be cared for by these so called careers, they don't care nor do they care. Awful trust and awful school along with awful staff. Avoid!!
