A lovely nature reserve. There are many dogs up here, often off lead.
A nice place to visit and walk across, a lot of dog walkers come here, although you have to be wary of cattle which roam freely across the common. Fantastic views across the local area on good days. There is a golf course and one of two pubs. It's also great for cyclists, runners and walkers. Close to Stroud, Cirencester and Tetbury and many more villages and towns to visit.
Nice place to walk the dog or go for a view. Calm cows often out to graze. Only down side is the amount of dog poo- but if you stay on the main "paths" you can avoid it easily.
Beautiful common with breathtaking views of the river Avon and the black mountains behind. Popular with dog walkers. We visited in this years glorious weather in July and it was stunning.
