Great experience at Vue Cinema Stroud enjoying the fantastic performance of La Traviata streamed from the Royal Opera House.
Horrendously noisy ads that have to be endured before you get to the main feature. Why oh why do you need a vomit-inducing ad for the cinema's professional sound system, if you're never going to buy one for yourself? . It puts me off going more often. Having said that, it's a reasonable cinema with a fair spread of choice.
My only complaint is that it takes so long to buy a ticket because the staff are also serving food/drinks. Would work better if ticket sales were kept separate. Otherwise a good experience.
Good location, easy to get to. Large open foyer where you can sit & get a drink/ snack before the movie. Cosy picture house, with comfy seating and great sound & vision.
It's OK.. Always seems quiet when I go.. But I do go late to watch horrors. Don't really get the bar bit. Would scrap that. Lots of pubs to go to before film.
