Love this campsite. Lucy is fantastic.
Lovely campsite with decent shower/toilet block. Helpful owner. Nice big pitch for our group who have 3 large tents. Nice to have the donkeys in the next field :) Only negative was that it didn't get quiet after 11pm, still very noisy...but we did come mid August when busy and we wouldn't have minded if we hadn't had a one year old with us trying to sleep.
Slightly eccentric but super friendly owner! Nice campsite, spacious pitches and very family friendly. Farm animals aplenty! Great facilities: free, clean and hot shower, kitchen area were you can use a kettle to make some easy tea.
20 out of 10 for this campsite. Highly recommended. The campsite is just perfect with plenty of pitch space and very clean facilities. It has everything you need and is close to Stroud and Gloucester. The owner, Lucy, was VERY friendly, helpful and always at the end of the phone or on site. As new campers, Lucy was also at the ready to lend us equipment that we had not thought to take with us! We had a great 7 days and can't wait to return.
We had a superb time at this campsite. Lucy was welcoming and provided us with great hospitality and information about the local area. She provided us with a fire pit so we could relax and keep warm during the evenings. Excellent facilities for dogs. the Toilets and showers where exceptionally clean. We had a large pitch and didn't even use most of the space. We are excited to visit again and booked before we left!
