Had a similar experience. Ordered book through Amazon with promised delivery date in about monthChecked with seller 2-3 weeks after order who assured me book had been shipped. Checked withseller again on delivery due date and was told that there had been "some problems with their printer"
I ordered a book on Amazon from this company not knowing it would be coming to the US from the UK. When I saw that the expected delivery date was over a month away I became skeptical and did some research and realized that not only was it coming from the UK, but this company already had a 1.0 star rating for selling and claiming to have shipped a product that was never in stock. I contacted them through amazon for confirmation that it had in fact been shipped, they told me it was in transit and to refer to the confirmation email for the expected delivery date. Now, a month and a half later, they tell me that the "UK distributor cannot supply the book at present or in the next 4 to 6 weeks... It is probably best that we cancel/refund your order. Again, we are sorry for this inconvenience and hope that you are able to find the book elsewhere." THIS IS WHY I CONTACTED YOU THE FIRST TIME AND YOUR RESPONSE WAS TOTAL BS
Ordered a book as showing in stock but wasn't.Notified 1 day after order accepted saying the item was shipped.When queried one week later was told "All internet providers use the word shipped when it really means order accepted".Rubbish!Avoid like the plague.
